What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage (localStorage), are used to remember information between visits.
Cookies used on this website
English Corner does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, which is why you will not see a cookie banner. The only information the website stores in your browser is this:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
ec-lang | Local storage, first-party | Remembers the language you picked in the language menu | Until you delete it |
It is a preference you request yourself by choosing a language, so it is exempt from consent (article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE).
Third-party content
Google Maps. The map in the contact section does not load until you press “Load the map”. From then on, Google may set its own cookies in your browser, as described in its cookie policy. If you do not load it, no connection to Google Maps is made.
Fonts. The typefaces are served from this website itself: nothing is requested from any external server to display them.
External links. The links to Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp simply take you to those services; nothing connects until you click.
How to manage or delete them
You can delete stored information and block cookies in your browser settings. See the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge.
Changes to this policy
If the website adds new cookies or services, we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent before using them.
